Two people were k!lled whilst four others were inj*red in a fatal road accident along Marondera -Igava road.
The accident occurred over the weekend on Sunday around 1450 hours. A BMW X 5 vehicle with five passengers on board veered off the road to the left before overturning and landing on its wheels.
The bodies of the victims were taken to Marondera Hospital mortuary for post mortem whilst the injured are admitted at the same hospital.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the incident and wrote the following on their X handle account:
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident in which two people were killed whilst four others were injured at the 15 kilometre peg along Marondera –Igava Road on 21/04/24 at around 1450 hours.”

Meanwhile Police in Tengwe have arrested Kevison Murengwa (33) in connection with a case of m*rder which occurred at Madzimoyo Farm on 21/04/24.
