Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi claimed his game has improved massively under manager Steve Cooper.
Awoniyi is currently considered as one of the fearsome forwards in the English top flight.
The 26-year-old was bought by Cooper from Bundesliga club Union Berlin last summer and finished as the Tricky Trees’ top scorer.
The hitman already has three goals to his name this season.
Awoniyi is currently sidelined with a groin injury and is expected to return to action next week.
“He is one of the best coaches I have worked under,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“The way he goes about things, the way he speaks to players and the confidence he gives to the players.
“We had a lot of pressure last season, but you could see in his eyes that he always believed. He knew we were going to stay up.
“That is what every player wants from their manager. He gives you the belief that you can really get to the peak of your career.
“That is if you are ready to work for him and go for it. I have learned so much in my time in England already.
“And I can tell you for a fact that I have improved so much.”
