The community of Sandringham High School is concerned for the well-being of one of their students, 14-year-old Tariro Tambala. She has been missing since October 20th, when she was taken from the school during the day by her aunt.
Tariro had been experiencing some eye issues and her mother’s sister had collected her from classes to take her to the doctor. On their way back to school, Tariro reportedly asked her aunt if she could run into a nearby shop in Chegutu town to buy some stationery. Unfortunately, the young girl never returned.
According to the statement released by Sandringham High, Tariro’s guardian was waiting with her school bag as agreed. But when Tariro did not come back from the shop, her concerned aunt quickly alerted the authorities and Tariro’s family.
Nearly a month has now passed without any sign of the missing Form 1 student.
