A 27-year-old woman from Mariveni village, outside Tzaneen, in Limpopo was violated by her boyfriend whom she had visited after she failed to give him more beer money.

Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said when the boyfriend could not get more out of his girlfriend for alcohol, he allegedly forced himself on her and r@ped her.
“He ordered her to wash herself but the victim managed to run to the neighbour’s house to seek assistance.
It is reported that the victim was rushed to the nearby hospital for medical assistance as a result of the ass@ult,” Mashaba said.
A case of r@pe and ass@ult with the intention to inflict grievous bodily harm is being investigated by the Tzaneen Family Violence Child Protection and S-xual Offences Unit.
The police in Ritavi have now launched a manhunt for the r2pe suspect as he disappeared after committing the crime.
