Opposition leader Linda Masarira has sparked a storm after she criticized CCC president Nelson Chamisa.
Linda Masarira who is the president of Labour, Economists and African Democrats (LEAD) accused Nelson Chamisa of being manipulative and deceptive.
This comes after, Nelson Chamisa recently shared on his official X account, emphasizing how he and his party members are builders. He expressed their history of constructing parties, citing instances where previous parties were divided or taken away. He affirmed their resilience in forming the CCC in January 2022 despite challenges, and expressed confidence in overcoming current obstacles.

In response to Nelson Chamisa’s post, Linda Masarira fired shots at CCC president, stating that he is not a builder but simply a charismatic being.
“Before you block me for saying the obvious truths you do not want many to know. You are far away from being a builder, my brother. You are just a charismatic being who has taken advantage of charisma and people’s desperation for change.”
Linda Masarira accused Nelson Chamisa of causing the downfall of his own parties, MDC and CCC. She asserted that his cobra tactics have inflicted significant harm on the opposition party
“You have been the number one catalyst in the destruction of MDC and the less than one year old baby CCC. Your so-called cobra tactics of being manipulative, seductive, and vindictive at the same time cost the opposition a lot.
Unlike many who have been victims of your narcissistic tendencies and cobra effect. I will boldly call you to order and ask you to self introspect before you have a nervous breakdown. Selling excessive propaganda to the masses is one thing but believing your own lies and making them a reality is a cause of concern especially for a man who claims to be a man of God who has God in all things.”

Masarira threatened to expose Nelson Chamisa stating that he should tell the world how he deceived his party members.
Before I undress the lies you beautifully clothed in with the building mantra. I will give you a chance to tell the world how you deceived all your erstwhile cdes when all the splits happened in the MDC in 2005, 2013, 2018 and 2023.
If you do not do it yourself, I will ask all those you stepped on their toes to do live interviews, exposing your hypocrisy…”

Meanwhile, Nelson Chamisa followers were not impressed by Linda Masarira’s post. His fans came out to defend him and drag Linda.
