One does not need to be a lawyer, just common sense, to realise that the chaos resulting from the recalls was of Chamisa’s own making. Yes Zanu PF has taken full advantage of the situation but it would be naive to expect the lawless regime not to.
Chamisa blaming Zanu-PF for the Tshabangu fiasco is as idiotic as Zanu PF blaming the West for Zimbabwe’s economic meltdown. What is disappointing is that there are many Zimbabweans out there who have swallowed the feeble narratives offered by the two parties.
The a significant number of the Zimbabwe electorate has no common sense is a worrying reality because a functioning and healthy democracy demands an informed and diligent electorate, not a feeble minded one!
