Since the Senzo Meyiwa trial was reopened, South African television personality Kelly Khumalo has received harsh criticism on social media. Due to the controversy surrounding the issue, the star was removed from the lineups of two events. She has however continued to be booked and active while clapping back at everyone who criticises her.
She hasn’t responded to the social media users who criticise her for the attire she chooses for her gospel performances, though.
The South African songbird, Kelly Khumalo, has been going through a rough patch ever since the Senzo Meyiwa trial resumed..
Her late boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa’s fans have been demanding answers about his 2014 death at their home in Vosloorus which was initially reported to be a home invasion.
During the trial, it was revealed that Kelly had been in contact with at least one of the suspects accused of the murder.
In light of this, two event organisers announced that they were dropping her from their artist lineup. And now social media users are slamming her for the types of clothes she wears during her gospel performances.
This after she shared a video of herself wearing a body suit and fur coat with nothing but heels and pantyhose underneath.

She was almost immediately blasted by social media users who questioned the fact that she was barely dressed yet singing gospel.
“We will definitely remember you as the woman who gave zero f*cks sana you praised God with or without clothes because it is the heart that matters sana,” one person wrote.
Despite this, her long-time friend and fellow starlit Somizi appears to be sticking by her side. The former Idols SA judge shared a poster revealing that Miss Khumalo would be performing at his 50 Shades of Pink.
He also took to her comment section after she shared the poster on her Instagram to share his excitement that she was going to be performing at the event.
Meanwhile, local social media users have not had many kind words with Kelly who they believe knows what happened to Senzo on that fateful evening.
In response to their comments, the star shared a number of clapbacks.
In one post, she wrote that she has nothing to fear and will always come out on top.
