Ashe Wednesday is a special Wednesday commemorated once every year at the beginning of the year by Catholics on the Catholic calendar across the globe. It resembles to those living that we shall return to dust in which we were formed by our creator Heavenly Father. Hence we should focus not on worldly things and forget our mission on mother earth of worshipping our creator and living following God’s commandments.
Catholic priests across the globe will perform church ordinances of Ashe Wednesday to devoted Catholics today at the Ashe Wednesday commemorations.
Whilst living on earth we should not be carried away by worldly things. We should share love, peace, joy and the little we have with the poor not forgetting that all worldly riches will pass. People should not be carried away by sinning in all it’s forms but seek the kingdom of God whilst living.
