Mai TT has appealed to her fans and supporters to assist her in raising funds for the incarcerated former news reporter Oscar Pambuka to be released from prison.
Oscar Pambuka, convicted of defrauding ZESA subsidiary Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) of over $12,000 in a Public Relations deal, has been serving his jail sentence at Chikurubhi Maximum Prison.
Taking to her Facebook account, Mai TT revealed that Oscar Pambuka was slated to be released from prison on the 10th of February 2024.
However, he reportedly faces another case where he is supposed to restitute US$2500.
Mai TT disclosed that Oscar Pambuka failed to compensate the US$2500; as a result, he will not be released from prison until he pays back that money.
Hey, fam. Today is a special day for loved ones. When I went to prison, I met my loving brother Oscar Pambuka, one of the most Intelligent, Educated man who served us with fluent English when reading the news 🗞️. Unfortunately, the law caught up with him and he served his sentence and was supposed to be out on the 10th of this month but because he has another case where he’s supposed to restitute he can’t come out until $2500 ( two thousand five hundred USD is paid )
