A Funeral in Soshanguve, Pretoria, took a shocking twist as a woman caused a stir after she flashed her dress and showed mourners her kuku.
The woman is suspected to be a commercial thigh vendor. Clad in a vivid yellow dress and without undergarments, the woman mounted the roof of a car, captivating the attention of mourners and passersby alike.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman energetically danced atop the vehicle, deliberately lifting her dress to expose herself to the gathered crowd. Her actions, characterised by suggestive movements, included encouraging spectators, predominantly men, to touch her kuku inappropriately. People with an alert eye also noticed that the woman attended the funeral of the late musician Vusi MaR5 in Pretoria.
She lay on her side, her dress leaving little to the imagination, and she started swelling. She then spread out her legs, showing her clean-shaven kuku. The men surrounding her could not help but stare and drool. Some whipped out their phones and started filming the naughty drama. Others squeezed forward and touched the kuku, and she let them. The incident swiftly gained traction online, with footage and images circulating across various social media platforms. Many expressed dismay at the blatant disregard for decorum and respect typically associated with funerary proceedings.
Community leaders and local authorities have since voiced their disapproval, emphasising the need for greater caution and respect during such solemn occasions. Soshanguve residents expressed their shock and disappointment.
The brazen display has ignited debates surrounding society’s values and the influence of external factors on public behaviour. Concerns have been raised regarding the apparent normalisation of inappropriate conduct and the erosion of cultural sensitivities.
