The South African Police Service (SAPS) claim they have, this month alone, arrested five suspected vehicle smugglers two of them foreign nationals, and intercepted super cars worth around R6 million destined for Zimbabwe.
All the intercepted vehicles were stolen or carjacked from the Gauteng Province, once believed to be the crime capital of the world.
According to media statements by SAPS Limpopo Province, most drivers of these vehicles failed to explain origins of the cars in their custody.
