Former first lady Grace Mugabe and her daughter Bona Mugabe Awaiting The Inauguration

Harare – The atmosphere at the National Sports Stadium was electric as thousands thronged the National Sports Stadium to watch President Emmerson Mnangagwa being sworn in for his second term as the president of Zimbabwe on Monday.

Former first lady Grace Mugabe and her daughter Bona Mugabe were among some of the high-profile guests who attended the inauguration ceremony.

The National Sports Stadium was abuzz with excitement as thousands of Zimbabweans gathered to witness the swearing-in of President Mnangagwa.

There was excitement in the air, and the attendees were dressed to impress, making it a truly remarkable event.

In the words of Secretary for Information Nick Mangwana,

“Today is a BIG day. His Excellency, President Mnangagwa is ending his first term and starting his Second. So much was achieved in his first term, which has set the bar of expectation high for the Second Term. Congratulations and Best Wishes Murambwi.”

The inauguration ceremony saw a remarkable lineup of distinguished guests, reinforcing the significance of the occasion. Among the notable attendees were:

Former VP Dr. Joice Mujuru: A prominent political figure in Zimbabwe, her presence added a sense of political unity to the event.
Former First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe: Grace Mugabe, the widow of former President Robert Mugabe, made a rare public appearance, capturing the attention of the media and the public alike.
Former First Daughter Ms. Bona Mugabe: Bona Mugabe, the daughter of Grace and Robert Mugabe, was also in attendance, representing the Mugabe family at the ceremony.
Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa: Founding leader of the United Family International Church, brought some spiritual flair.
Ambassador Eubert Angel: Zimbabwe’s Ambassador-at-Large to the Americas and Europe Uebert Angel
Justice Loice Matanda Moyo: Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
