Former Zengeza west legislator Job Sikhala congratulate former CCC MP for Mount Pleasant constituency Fadzai Mahere after she won a court appeal against her conviction and sentencing.
Yesterday, the High Court overturned the conviction and sentence of the former Mount Pleasant MP and lawyer for communicating a false statement in 2021 by Harare Magistrate Taurai Manuwere.
Job Sikhala who recently convicted and sentenced for publishing falsehoods by the Harare magistrate took his X (formerly known as twitter) and wrote the following:
Congratulations Fadzi. Just a week ago l was convicted of the same offence despite furiously telling them that you are persecuting me on a law that does not exist. Like they did to you, they continued despite. We wish them the best in life these persecutors.
In an unrelated post, Job Sikhala distances himself from a news article published by ZimEye that was saying Job Sikhala who is Ali’s family lawyer have directed that there will be no party regalia blue or yellow at More blessing Ali’s funeral.
Moreblessing Ali’s burial was set for Saturday this coming weekend. Job Sikhala wrote the following:
Be advised that a story that has been run by ZimEye that I have directed that there will be no party regalia blue or yellow at Moreblessing Ali’s funeral is a lie. It is a story taken frm a fake account running in my name by state agencies & must be disregarded. Its agenda setting.
