It comes after the 33-year-old forward scored his second consecutive goal in the league to help Riyadh secure a 2-1 victory over Al-Okhdood Club on Friday.
Musona’s impressive performance saw him being named Man of the Match and earning a spot in the league’s team of the week with a 8.5 rating.
The former Kaizer Chiefs forward has so far netted two goals in three games since his return from injury.
The Smiling Assassin as Musona is nicknamed, has now scored three goals in the Saudi league this season.
Musona’s stellar performances comes at a time Prophet Walter Magaya said he is considering convincing him to come out of retirement and play for the Zimbabwe national team once again.
The Yadah FC owner recently signed Khama Billiat and believes both Musona and Billiat are still good enough to play for the Warriors:
“I think he (Billiat) is still good enough to play for our national team and I will try to talk to him to reconsider his decision to retire from the Warriors.
“I will do the same to Knowledge (Musona) because I don’t think as a nation we are ready to lose such talent.
“The two have the experience we need and let’s see how it will come out.”
Musona retired from international football in May 2022 while Billiat announced his retirement in 2021.
