THE provision of health care is set to improve in Zhombe with a new clinic being constructed in the area almost complete.
The clinic, which is being constructed under the devolution programme is one of several projects being implemented by the Second Republic to improve livelihoods in previously marginalised communities.
“We can’t wait for the completion of this project. It’s been difficult to go out there looking for Healthcare services. At least the hurdle will be dealt with once the clinic becomes functional,” said a Zhombe resident.
Another said, “This is one of the biggest projects that have been brought to our locality. I want to thank President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his visionary leadership which has seen us getting this key infrastructure. I just wish the project could be completed in time so that we get the necessary services in our community.”
“Our President is proving to be a man of the people time and again. We are enjoying the massive development happening in our country time and again. He is walking the talk and indeed vision 2030 is a reality,” added a resident.
The government is pushing for the transformative project to be completed without delay.
The Second Republic is pro- people in its approach and is committed to the provision of quality and affordable service delivery without compromise. Devolution funds to Local Authorities for 2024 were significantly increased. We look forward to the completion of all outstanding projects including Fafi clinic,” said Midlands Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Owen Ncube.
The Second Republic has been on a massive development trajectory, which has seen the upgrading of roads, construction of clinics as well as sinking of boreholes to improve the people’s lives.
