Chinhoyi University of Technology underfire for charging 15% mark-up margin
from the prevailing inter bank rate of the day.
The Zinasu SRC led by Preston Paradzayi held a meeting and assured the students that they will get the refund.

It is very clear the institution was day robbing students and we managed to rectify it, respecting the exchange control circular no3 of 2022 which talks about 10% not 15%. Every student who was affected is going to be refunded back his/her money.

Earlier on the University had proposed the fees to be increased from US$535 of last to US$900 this year which the student representative commitee rejected.
