WARRIORS legends Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona have made themselves available for selection in the national team.
Former captain, Musona retired from international football in 2022 at 31 years old.
Two years later, the striker has been persuaded to give the national team a few more years as they seek to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Morocco as well as the Fifa World Cup.
The Afcon draw for the qualifiers is yet to be conducted, while the Warriors will resume their World Cup campaign in June.
Musona announced on May 19, 2022 via his social media handles that he was retiring from international football.
“Dear Zimbabwean Family, it is with a heavy heart that I officially announce my retirement from national duty with our beloved national football team, the Warriors. It is a decision that I do not take lightly after representing our beloved country for 12 years, starting with my first appearance on 3rd of March 2010, in a game versus South Africa,” he wrote.
But the forward is now available for a return to national colours after he was reportedly persuaded by Yadah Football Club owner Walter Magaya.
Billiat has also agreed to come back into the Warriors fold after turning his back on the national team just two months before the Afcon finals in Cameroon early this year.
NewsDay Sport was told yesterday that Zifa have already been informed that the duo is now available.
The news is likely to thrill national team coach Norman Mapeza whose side played in a four nation tournament in Malawi last week.
Zimbabwe defeated Zambia via penalties to earn a place in the final where they were walloped 3-1 by Kenya.
