THABANG Moswane, who is @ccus3d of m_rd3ring his mum, remains in custody.
The 24-year-old from Mathopestad Village near Koster, North West, appeared in the Bafokeng Regional Court on Thursday, 4 April.
His case was postponed to 16 April and was transferred back to Koster Regional Court for the Director of Public Prosecutions’ (DPP) decision following the outcome from the hospital that Moswane must undergo further observation.
He was admitted at Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital for mental observation following his arrest in May 2022 after allegedly st@bbing his 53-year-old mother to d3@th and was seen by his twin brother drinking her bl00d from the st@bb3d wound on her neck.
It is alleged that Thabang and his mother, Kedisaletse Moswane had an argument after Thabang asked for R10 and Kedisaletse didn’t have it.
The mother of six was found d3@d with numerous st@b wounds.
Thabang’s twin brother, Thabo Moswane previously told source he found his twin brother drinking bl00d from the st@b wound on his mother’s neck.
