Warriors stand-in captain Marshall Munetsi has been blocked from playing in the French Ligue 1 against Strasbourg this weekend
The Zimbabwean midfielder’s suspension came after he accumulated four yellow cards and he will only serve one match.
Ligue 1 confirmed the development on there website, saying:
“Undefeated for four matchdays, Stade de Reims will try to extend its run in Strasbourg, but it will have to do so without its tireless midfielderMarshall Munetsi.”
The warriors captain will dropped from the matchday squad for the first time since his return from an injury layoff in in late January due to the suspension.
Marshall Munetsi is among the best midfielders in France’s topflight clubs. He is a box to box midfielder.
