Former Dynamos FC attacking midfielder Denver ‘Mundikumbuke’ Mukamba has signed for Northern Region Division One outfit Scotland FC.
Mukamba’s move to the ambitious side owned by businessman and Mabvuku legislator Scott Sakupwanya comes at a time he was unattached after being released by giants Dynamos in January.
One of the club’s officials confirmed Mukamba’s move to Soccer24.
“Denver (Mukamba) is now a Scotland player. He signed a contract to officially join us. We are happy to have him,” the official told the publication.
In the local league, Mundikumbuke previously played for CAPS United, Ngezi Platinum and Chapungu United.
Meanwhile, the lanky midfielder whose career has been nomadic, also plied his career in South Africa.
He had stints at Bidvest Wits, Chippa United as well as Jomo Cosmos.
By roping in the experienced midfielder who once captained the Zimbabwe national team at 20, the ambitious side Scotland FC has sent a strong message to the league in their debut season.
Already, following a good start to the campaign, they could be eyeing a historic promotion to the top flight league.
