It seems trouble is brewing in former Dynamos Football Club striker Edward Sadomba’s marriage which has long been hailed as couple-goals.
Sadomba, known for his prowess on the football field, is married to Sherlynn Sadomba, a prosecutor at the Harare Magistrates Court.
The Sadombas, known for their harmonious family life, have often been celebrated as a beacon of success among local celebrity marriages.
However, recent reports from the daily tabloid source suggest that discord may be brewing within their household. Sources close to the couple disclosed to the publication details of a heated dispute between Edward Sadomba and his wife, which escalated to involve the police.
On Tuesday, the publication’s reporters received a tip-off that Sadomba and his wife were slated to make a court appearance. Interestingly, the source also informed the reporters that the case would be heard at Mbare Magistrates Court instead of the usual Harare Magistrates Court.
Signs of tension became evident as the couple arrived separately at the court premises. Edward Sadomba, accompanied by his lawyer Charles Warara, arrived first, followed by his wife, Sherlyn, a short while later.
Sadomba and his wife did not appear before a magistrate as anticipated. Instead, a vetting officer determined that additional witness statements needed to be recorded before the case could proceed.
According to an anonymous source close to the couple, Edward Sadomba allegedly locked his wife out of their matrimonial home on multiple occasions upon her return in the evenings.
Sadomba will be summoned back to the Mbare Magistrates Court for further proceedings once all necessary statements have been collected.
