The Zimbabwean government has shown its unwavering commitment to the well-being of veterans of the liberation struggle and their dependents. The matter took place today when the Minister of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Honourable Monica Mavhunga met with the war veterans and the heroes’ dependents assistance boards in Harare.
Hon Mavhunga further elaborated that the wellbeing of the war veterans remains top priority.Additonally,she said the government has to take full consideration about their health as they sacrified a lot during the liberation struggle and it is our duty that they are able to age gracefully with the dignity and respect they deserve.
