The Zimbabwean government has appointed a ruling ZANUPF youth leader as the acting CEO of the country’s national broadcaster, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).
Newsreportzim.com viewed on X that Charles Munganasa serves as the ZANUPF youth league secretary for administration in Masvingo province. Additionally, he is a board member of the ZBC, with the board being led by President Mnangagwa’s niece, Helliate Rushwaya, from Masvingo.
Charles Munganasa wrote ,“I was born with nothing, The only currency I had was imagination, this currency bought me a vision, for this vision to grow I had to invest patience, tolerance, prayer, hard work and resilience. Today I am where I am, not yet there but not yet lost. I still carry with me IMAGINATION!”
Zimbabwe is the only country in Africa with only ONE terrestrial television station. ZBC is wholly owned by the government and is used as a propaganda tool for the ruling party, ZANUPF.
