Women’s Affairs Minister Monica Mutsvangwa has come forward to defend her son, Neville, who was recently @rrested for allegedly engaging in ill3gal foreign currency trading.
In a leaked message that has been circulating on social media, Minister Mutsvangwa claims that her son is innocent and alleges that his arrest is the result of political vict!mization.
She said , “It’s definitely political v!ctimization because my son doest trade in foreign currency. He doesn’t trade in ZIG so I don’t know what it is and why it had to wait for me to be out of the country. It appears it was timed to coincide with my absence.”
Minister Mutsvangwa contends that Neville does not trade in foreign currency or Zimbabwe’s new gold-backed currency, ZiG, and questions the timing of the arrest, which took place while she was out of the country. She suggests that the motives behind the arr3st may be driven by a hidden agenda against her family.
