Zimbabwe has announced plans to construct a multi-purpose stadium in Victoria Falls. The project, funded by Zimbabwe Cricket, aims to create a world-class facility capable of hosting a variety of sporting events, including the 2027 ICC World Cup.
The 10,000-seat stadium is expected to be completed by August 2025 and will meet international standards, helping to position Zimbabwe as a key player in the global sports arena.
Beyond cricket, the venue will also cater to other sports such as rugby, tennis, hockey, and squash, making it a versatile hub for athletes and fans alike.
In addition to its impact on sports, the Victoria Falls stadium project is expected to create new jobs and stimulate economic growth in the region.
