A well-known social media private investigator Tafadzwa Chidawa, better known as Detective Kedha yesterday, captured an employment agent scammer in Harare. The capture took place after the agent and his partner were accused of defrauding job seekers.
In a video posted by Detective Kedha, the unidentified agent was confronted by two women who claimed to have been scammed. One of the women can be seen shouting at the agent, accusing him of taking $50 from her and her friend under the pretense of securing employment. She alleged that after a month without any job offers and continuous attempts to contact the agent, he began behaving erratically and shouting at them instead of providing assistance.
Detective Kedha, who has gained a significant following on social media for his efforts in apprehending thieves and scammers in Harare’s central business district, recorded the confrontation and subsequent capture of the agent. His latest success follows a string of similar incidents, including the capture of a woman who allegedly scammed her boyfriend by pretending to be pregnant and demanding money to cover supposed medical bills.
Netizens have praised Detective Kedha for his relentless efforts to clean up the city, where incidents of theft and scams have been on the rise. His new role as a relationship private investigator has also garnered attention, further cementing his reputation as a vigilant and dedicated investigator in the community.
