Dynamos head coach, Mangombe, has confirmed that first-choice goalkeeper Martin Mapisa, midfielder Tanaka “Kante” Shandirwa, and winger Issa Sadiki are all back to full fitness and available for the upcoming Harare derby against the Green Machine.
The trio returned to full training this week, providing a timely boost for Dynamos ahead of their crucial match against city rivals Caps United.
Speaking about their availability, Mangombe stated, “They are all available for the match after recovering from injuries. It is a huge boost for us because they are key players in the team. They are first-team players, and their availability also means we have enough depth in the squad, so I am very happy.”
Dynamos, currently positioned 10th with 12 points, have registered only two wins and six draws so far in the season. However, they are expected to receive three additional points from their abandoned match against Chegutu Pirates.
On the other hand, Caps United initially struggled at the start of the season but have since found their winning form, propelling them to sixth place on the log with 16 points.
