The United States Department of Defense (DoD) has announced a new $275 million military aid package for Ukraine, aimed at supporting its defense against Russian aggression.
This recent security package is the fifth authorised by the US President since signing the national security supplemental in April.
The military aid will provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to address its most urgent battlefield needs, including artillery rounds, air-launched munitions, and anti-tank weapons.
The package includes various weapons and munitions, with the objective of delivering this aid quickly to help Ukraine repel Russia’s ass@ult near Kharkiv and meet its critical battlefield needs.
This aid is part of ongoing efforts to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine marks an escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. This invasion has become the largest attack on a European country since World War II.
