Zimbabwean social media influencer Shadaya Tawona Knight, known for his controversial views and alpha teachings, recently made headlines again by criticising women from underprivileged backgrounds.
In a post, he expressed skepticism about believing a woman’s love declaration if she comes from a poorer background, suggesting that some might only profess love to receive financial support.
“When a chick from a poor background says “I love you” you will never know if it’s from the heart or the hungry stomach ”
Knight argued that impoverished women may struggle to be submissive, drawing a parallel to how a poor man might find it challenging to be loyal.
He defined a submissive woman as one not from a poor background, financially independent, yet choosing to submit to her partner.
“A poor woman can’t be submissive just like a poor man can’t be loyal A submissive woman is one who doesn’t come from a poor background and has her own source of income but decides to be submissive to her man,” he said.
Knight labeled women from impoverished backgrounds as “poverty-stricken economic refugees,” implying that they feign submissiveness out of necessity for support.
