Eleven men from Bulawayo have been arr3sted after they were found poaching firewood with donkeys they allegedly st0le from various farmers in Ntabazinduna, Mbembesi district.
The men, who are believed to be from the same rural area, were arr3sted by the police after a tip-off from a concerned farmer.
According to police reports, the men had been ste@ling donkeys from farmers in the area and using them to carry firewood to sell in the city. The st0len donkeys were found in a nearby forest, where the men had been poaching firewood.
The police said that the men had been operating in the area for several months, and that they had stolen numerous donkeys from local farmers. The men had also been using f@ke registration documents to sell the stolen donkeys and firewood.
The police arr3sted the men after they received a tip-off from a concerned farmer who had noticed that some of his donkeys were miss!ng.
The police launched an investigation and found that several other farmers in the area had also reported st0len donkeys.
The police said that the men would face charges of theft, poaching, and illegal possession of wildlife. The men could face up to 15 years in pr!son if convicted of all charges.
