Chelsea FC, the English Premier League giant, will officially announce Enzo Maresca as the new head coach and manager today.
The former Leicester City coach has signed a deal valid until June 2029, with an option for the club to extend until June 2030.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest updates on Chelsea, “Enzo Maresca will be announced today as the new Chelsea manager. All contracts are signed, including those for the staff.”
“The deal is valid until June 2029, with a club option until June 2030.”
“Leicester City will receive €10 million in compensation for Maresca, plus additional payments for the staff.”
Enzo Maresca’s appointment follows the departure of Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the 2023/24 season. Pochettino and Chelsea FC parted ways by mutual agreement.
