Afro-pop musician Thamsanqa “Tamy” Moyo has characterised the music of multi-award-winning contemporary artist Jah Prayzah as being for older audiences.
In an interview with Mai Chisamba, she emphasised that Jah Prayzah’s music caters to the elderly, while Tamy’s music targets a much younger demographic.
She mentioned that this approach makes it easier to attract fans from both age groups when they come together to listen to their songs, facilitating the spread of powerful messages.
Tamy gained fame with her 2016 song “Ndibereke” and is also known for her role in the 2020 film “Gonarezhou.”
