Award-winning fashion designer Tinotenda Matayi, also known as Hatiperi, has exchanged words with prominent social media influencer Shadaya regarding the performance of Master H in Europe.
In a tweet observed by newsreportzim.com, Shadaya criticized Zimbabwean artists who travel to Europe to perform for the diaspora, suggesting they waste valuable resources.
Shadaya argued that contemporary artists fall short when compared to legends like Mbuya Stella Chiweshe, Oliver Mtukudzi, and Thomas Mapfumo, who drew large crowds during their European tours.
He derided current performers for only attracting small audiences in minor venues.
In response, Hatiperi defended Master H, emphasising that he is still relatively new to the industry and should not be compared to established legends.
