A 30-year-old man from Mutasa has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for marrying a 15-year-old girl and having an !ntimate relationship with her.
The man, who is already married, took the minor girl in as his second wife on May 27th and spent the next four days getting !ntimate with her.
However, the girl’s mother was tipped off by a neighbour about her daughter’s whereabouts, and she was able to retrieve her child and report the case to the police. The police took immediate action, and the man was arrested and charged.
The court has now sentenced the man to 30 months in prison for his illegal actions.
