Real Madrid, the Spanish giant, is set to open contract talks with Dani Carvajal, the Spain and Real Madrid defender, whose current deal expires next summer.
The 32-year-old right-back’s vast experience and elite-level mentality make him one of Carlo Ancelotti’s most trusted and valuable players.
According to a recent report from leading transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the recently crowned 15-time Champions League winners are set to open contract talks with Carvajal.
“After Modric and Lucas Vazquez, and waiting on Nacho’s situation to be clarified, Real Madrid will also start talks over a new deal for Dani Carvajal.”
“The club is extremely happy with his performances and commitment; a new contract will be a topic to discuss in the coming months.”
Dani Carvajal broke into Real Madrid’s first team in 2013 and has subsequently won 25 major trophies at the club, including four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, and a joint-record six Champions League titles.
