Zimbabwean police arrested and charged opposition leader Jameson Timba and more than 70 other people with disorderly conduct over a private meeting held over the weekend, according to his lawyer’s statement on Monday.
Jameson Timba arrived in a second bus at the Harare Magistrates Court, where he, his son, and 78 others are facing public order offenses related to an International Youth Day event held at his private residence on Sunday.
In a video posted by Zimlive, the accused individuals can be seen disembarking from the bus and heading toward the magistrate’s court.
