Jameson Timba, interim leader of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), along with 77 other activists, has been denied bail by Zimbabwean magistrate Ruth Moyo.
The opposition activists were arrested on June 16 of this year after reportedly gathering at Timba’s residence without official authorisation, prompting police intervention.
The arrests extended to Timba’s tenants and his son Shawn Timba, who were also detained and subjected to severe be@tings, resulting in some sustaining broken legs.

Meanwhile, one activist, who is currently m0urning the loss of her child this week, has been allegedly denied from attending her son’s burial.
