Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands Province, Hon. O. Ncube, has officially commissioned the Dombwe Bridge along the Dombwe-Zvarota road in Shurugwi.
The event followed the Minister’s tour of the completed first phase of the Shurugwi-Mhandamabwe road reconstruction project.
According to the Ministry of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, Newsreportzim.com has learned that Hon. O. Ncube toured the first phase of the Shurugwi-Mhandamabwe road and commissioned the Dombwe Bridge.
“Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. O. Ncube, toured the completed first phase of the Shurugwi-Mhandamabwe Road Reconstruction Project and commissioned the Dombwe Bridge along the Dombwe-Zvarota road in Shurugwi,” the report reads.
The bridge was constructed by the government through the Rural Infrastructure Development Agency under the Emergency Road Rehabilitation Programme.
