Police in Gokwe are investigating a case of murd3r which occured on 29 June 2024 at a night club at Gokwe Centre, where an unidentified man was brut@lly att@cked to d3ath by a mob.
According to eyewitnesses, the v!ctim had been drinking heavily with friends at the club when he suddenly became involved in a heated argument with a woman over an unknown issue.
The argument quickly escalated, and the man pulled out a knife and st@bbed the woman in the chest.
As the woman lay !njured on the floor, a large crowd gathered at the scene, and soon turned vi0lent.
The mob, enraged by the brutal act, @ttacked the man with sticks, stones, and other objects, resulting in his d3ath.
Police officers from Gokwe received a distress call around 2 am and rushed to the scene to find the v!ctim lying d3ad.
An investigation has since been launched to identify the perpetrator and establish the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
