Paul Sanyangore, the infamous Zimbabwean pastor has taken his spiritual connection to the next level—literally. Claiming to have God’s personal phone number, Sanyangore, also known as “Pastor Talent,” has stirred up quite the holy commotion. He insists that the Almighty Himself handed over the digits, allowing him to dial up divine guidance as easily as ordering takeout.
The saga began in February 2017 when a video of Sanyangore chatting on his mobile during a church service at Victory World International Ministries went viral. But this was no ordinary call; he claimed he was speaking directly to God. The internet was ablaze with reactions ranging from awe to outright skepticism. In an interview with a local news site, the pastor shrugged off the public’s shock, seemingly puzzled by their disbelief.
“I have a direct channel, actually I have his number and I can call him when the need arises,” Sanyangore declared nonchalantly. “It is possible to talk to God, why would you doubt that I got a call from him? I actually have a direct line which I can call him and get instructions on how to proceed. I got this when I was praying and I heard a voice telling me to call direct.”
He elaborated on the celestial conversations, explaining that he received step-by-step instructions from God during Sunday services. “I got instructions on the phone on what to do or say and that is what happened on Sunday. If the heavens spoke to Abraham, why not us? You are of faith, and people will always have doubts while others are being delivered,” he added.
As if the tale wasn’t outlandish enough, Sanyangore announced plans for a new show on his church’s television channel, Victory TV, aptly named “Heaven Online.” The program promised to feature more of his divine dialogues, with the pièce de résistance being the potential public reveal of God’s phone number. He invited everyone to attend a special service at Victory World International Ministries to witness this miraculous disclosure firsthand.
However, the grand reveal didn’t materialize as planned. But don’t think Pastor Talent was bluffing—oh no, he simply decided the timing wasn’t right. In a follow-up interview in May 2017, he assured followers that the heavenly digits would soon be shared.
“The time is ripe, come Sunday the contact will be shared. I will not intercede on behalf of people; they will be talking to the creator directly. We will have the event beamed on our television channel, Victory TV, for the avoidance of explanations and misrepresentations,” he confidently stated. “When the Israelites demanded to see God, Moses prayed and asked God to present himself. I have had a similar situation and it is time that I share the contact and there are conditions thereto. People have to be pure come Sunday to contain the number. It is going to be a prophetic service, and He will be at our base Kingstons House, it is a day not to be missed for healing and deliverance.”

But again, the number remained undisclosed. Instead, the spotlight shifted to Tich Mataz, an attendee who allegedly received a call from God during the service. With the congregation watching in awe, Mataz began delivering prophetic messages, much to the delight of Pastor Talent, who claimed this was proof enough of his divine hotline. And just like that, Mataz was anointed as the newest prophet, courtesy of his heavenly phone call.
For those still skeptical, there’s a 40-minute recording of Sanyangore’s “Heaven Online” TV show, showcasing his celestial conversations. Whether you believe it or not, one thing is certain: Pastor Paul Sanyangore has brought a whole new meaning to staying connected.
