Police in Magunje are urgently seeking information that could lead to the capture of two suspects, Nomore Chikandiwa (32) and Solomon Chikandiwa (35), wanted in connection with a brut@l murd3r that occurred on July 1 2024, at approximately 00:30 hours in Chinovhiringa Village.
According to reports, the v!ctim, Sammer Panashe Kaimbanemoyo (23), allegedly broke into Nomore Chikandiwa’s residence and attempted to r@pe his wife.
The suspects, who are related, took turns ass@ulting the v!ctim with wooden logs and a sjambok, resulting in his d3ath at the scene.
The police investigation has revealed that the suspects fled the area following the incident and are currently on the run.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the apprehension of Nomore and Solomon Chikandiwa.
Anyone with knowledge of the suspects’ whereabouts or any details related to the case is urged to contact the Magunje Police Station immediately.
