President Emmerson Mnangagwa is currently attending the Zimbabwe Irrigation Investment Conference at the Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare.
The event has brought together a range of stakeholders, including Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, Minister of Agriculture, Lands and Rural Resettlement Dr. Anxious Masuka, and other key figures from the agricultural sector.
The conference is being held under the theme “Public-Private Partnership for Sustainable and Structured Irrigation Financing to Deliver Food Security, Everywhere Everyday.”
The focus of the conference is to promote collaboration between government, private sector companies, and other stakeholders to drive the development of irrigation infrastructure and promote sustainable agriculture in Zimbabwe.
The event aims to address key challenges facing the agriculture sector in Zimbabwe, including water scarcity, land degradation, and food insecurity.
The conference is also expected to feature keynote addresses from international experts and panel discussions on topics such as irrigation financing models, water management strategies, and innovative technologies for sustainable agriculture.
