In a recent police operation in Swindon, a vehicle was seized due to a discrepancy in the trade plates being displayed on the car.
The attention of the police officers was drawn when they noticed that the trade plates on the vehicle did not match from the front and rear.
According to Id1ot UK Drivers Exposed, one set of plates had expired way back in 2015, while the other set was still valid until 2023.
This raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of the vehicle and its driver.
To make matters worse, the driver of the vehicle was found to be driving with a Zimbabwean driving license and had no insurance.

This omission further compounded the legal issues surrounding the vehicle.
As a result, the vehicle and the trade plates were seized, and the driver was reported to the authorities for the vi0lations.
It appears that the driver was not cooperative with the police leading up to the seizure of the vehicle.
Despite the police illuminating their blue lights and signalling for the driver to stop, the driver ignored several options such as a retail park, side streets with no restrictions, and even a lay-by before stopping in the zig-zags – a reckless choice that could have endangered other road users.
