Advocate Jacob Mudenda, Speaker of the Parliament of Zimbabwe, paid a courtesy call on the Angolan President, His Excellency, President João Lourenço, on the sidelines of the SADC Parliamentary Forum held in Angola’s capital.
Advocate Mudenda, along with other Speakers of Parliament led by SADC-PF President Hon. Roger Mancienne, visited the Presidential Palace in Luanda, where they met with President João Lourenço.
According to a post from the Parliament of Zimbabwe on X, newsreportzim.com has learned that the Speaker paid a courtesy call on the Angolan President following the SADC Parliamentary Forum.
“On the sidelines of the @sadcpf Parliamentary Forum 55th Assembly Plenary and Assembly, Speaker Mudenda and other Speakers of Parliament, led by SADC-PF President Hon. Roger Mancienne, paid a courtesy call on Angolan President, His Excellency, President João Lourenço,” the post reads.
The meeting at the Presidential Palace in Luanda focused on affirming ongoing regional cooperation and integration efforts within the SADC community.
