In a deeply disturbing incident that has rocked the community of Beitbridge, three Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officers have been accused of rap!ng an 18-year-old woman who had visited her relative, also a police officer, in June.
The three officers, identified as Jabulani Museba (33), Courage Majoni (32), and Enock Nyamupandu (35), were named in a report by The Herald, detailing the harrowing sequence of events that unfolded over several days.
The victim, who had traveled to Beitbridge to visit her aunt, a police officer, faced unimaginable trauma during her stay.
On June 5th, while she was bathing in a community-shared bathroom, Museba allegedly sneaked in, grabbed her, covered her mouth, and rap_ed her.

The assault was compounded by the fact that Museba was armed with a gun, which he used to threaten the victim, warning her that he would sh00t her if she reported the rap_e to anyone.
The ordeal did not end there. On June 8th, while the victim was again using the same bathroom, Majoni allegedly repeated the horrific act.
He too sneaked in, grabbed her, covered her mouth, and rap_ed her. Like Museba, Majoni threatened to k!ll the young woman if she disclosed what had happened.
The nightmare continued on June 13th when Nyamupandu allegedly lured the v!ctim to his home under the pretense of collecting some plates. Once she entered his room, he reportedly shut the door, threatened her with a kitchen knife, and rap_ed her. Nyamupandu’s threats of vi0lence were intended to ensure her silence.
In each of these ass@ults, the police officers reportedly used protection. It remains unclear whether the three officers had communicated or coordinated their att@cks, but the pattern of their actions suggests a troubling level of premeditation and collusion.
The v!ctim, traumatized and fearing for her life, initially kept silent about the ass@ults. However, upon returning to her home in Bulawayo, she confided in a family member. This relative then assisted her in filing a report at ZRP Western Commonage, prompting swift action from the authorities.
The three Beitbridge officers were subsequently arrested and brought before the court. They appeared in Beitbridge regional magistrate’s court on July 9th, where they were formally charged and remanded in custody until July 23rd.
