A shocking incident of vi0lence has left a married woman, Violet Mapungwana, 26, battling for life at Mutambara Mission Hospital after being savagely st@bbed by her boyfriend, Gamuchirai Hungwe.
According to Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, the altercation occurred on Sunday at Mapungwana’s home in Kwanaka Village under Chief Mutambara in Chimanimani.
Media reports reveal that Hungwe, who is also married, had confronted Mapungwana about her suspected involvement with another man, Givie, at her food vending stall at Nhedziwa Business Centre.

The confrontation turned de@dly when Hungwe st@bbed Mapungwana multiple times with a knife after she ended their illicit relationship.
In a shocking twist, Hungwe then called Mapungwana’s husband and informed him that he had st@bbed his wife for che@ting. Mapungwana sustained serious !njuries, including st@b w0unds to the head, chest, hands, thighs, and back.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the dangers of extramarital relationships and the devastating consequences of vi0lence.
The police are currently investigating the incident and have launched a manhunt for Hungwe, who fled the scene.
