VIDEO: Another Mercedes Benz burns to ashes in Murewa Image: Internet

A devastating incident occurred on Saturday night around 1900hrs when a Mercedes-Benz belonging to Optive Technology exploded at the Murewa Police turnoff.

The tranquil evening was abruptly shattered by the sound of the explosion, drawing the immediate attention of nearby motorists and passersby.

Upon hearing the blast, several concerned motorists quickly pulled over and rushed to the scene, armed with fire extinguishers in a desperate attempt to control the rapidly spreading flames.

Despite their best efforts, the fire proved too fierce and unyielding, rendering their attempts futile.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz, along with a growing crowd of onlookers, could only stand by in despair and horror as the luxury vehicle was engulfed by the raging inferno.

Flames licked hungrily at the car, consuming it entirely within minutes.

The heat was intense, driving spectators to maintain a safe distance as they watched the vehicle reduced to a smoldering heap of ashes and twisted metal.

The scene was chaotic, with the glow of the fire illuminating the night sky and the acrid smell of burning materials filling the air.

People murmured in disbelief, speculating about the cause of the explosion and expressing sympathy for the driver who appeared shaken but unharmed.

Emergency services were quickly summoned, but by the time they arrived, there was little left to save.

The fire had done its worst, leaving behind only the charred remains of what once was a pristine Mercedes-Benz.

Authorities began an immediate investigation, hoping to determine the cause of the explosion and prevent any future incidents of a similar nature.
