Alick Macheso’s team has just shared the list of songs from his 13th album, “Kupa Kutukirika,” just three days before it comes out.
The album will be released at Alex Sports Club in Harare, which ends months of waiting. Macheso’s team had kept the song list a secret because they were worried about people copying it.
The album includes a selection of tracks such as “Murangarire,” “Undiregererewo, “Kuverengera,” “Zvichada Hama” and “Kunditaya,”.
Each song brings its own unique flavor to the album, showcasing a range of themes and styles that reflect the Macheso’s diverse musical talent.
A combined expertise brought the album which was crafted at Macheso’s Alema Music studio in Chitungwiza to life.
The magic happened under the skilled hands of producer Bothwell Nyamhodera and sound engineer Aaron Tomu.
Tichaona Makahamadze, Macheso’s publicist, is buzzing with excitement as he confirms that preparations for the album launch are right on track.
“We’re thrilled to unveil the album cover and tracklist that everyone’s been eagerly asking about,” he shared.
The album will be accessible exclusively on Friday morning, ahead of the official launch event.
The evening will transform into a lively celebration, featuring a lineup of popular young artists as supporting acts.
Expect performances from Enzo Ishall, DJ Fantan, Feli Nandi, Andy Muridzo and Saintfloew.
Additionally, Macheso’s sons, Esau and Tatenda of Cheso Boys, will also be taking the stage.
