Renowned Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah, born Mukudzei Mukombe, has publicly endorsed Alick Macheso’s upcoming album launch.
Alick Macheso, the celebrated guitarist and songwriter, is set to release his 13th album, “Kupa Kuturika,” on August 2, 2024, at Alex Sports Club in Harare.
Via his Facebook page, Jah Prayzah expressed his excitement for the event and urged his fans to show their love and support for Macheso, affectionately known as Baba Sharo.
“Team rangu, did I tell you kuti Mdara vangu Baba Sharo is launching his album this coming Friday at Alex Sports Club? Team JP let’s go out and show our love kuna Mdara vedu,” Jah Prayzah wrote.
Earlier this week, Alick Macheso revealed tracklist for his new album. The album includes a selection of tracks such as “Murangarire,” “Undiregererewo, “Kuverengera,” “Zvichada Hama” and “Kunditaya,”.
Although Jah Prayzah will be unable to attend the album launch due to a scheduled performance in Mutare on the 3rd of August 2024.
“Remember 3 August 3G the Band and myself will be in Mutare, hakudanwi anonzwa,” Jah Prayzah added.
