Tinei Matonho, 42, from Triangle has been arrested in connection with the m_rder of his wife, Espina Nhambuka, 45. The incident unfolded on August 3 2024, at their residence in Section 19, where a heated argument between the couple escalated into vi0lence.
According to reports from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the confrontation between Matonho and Nhambuka started over allegations of infidelity.
Tempers flared during the argument, leading to Matonho allegedly st@bbing his wife with a sharp object on her elbow. The severity of the inj_ry caused significant bl00d loss, prompting immediate medical attention.
Emergency services transported Nhambuka to Collin Saunders Hospital, where medical staff worked swiftly to treat her inj_ries.
Despite their efforts, she tragically succumbed to her w0unds upon admission.
Following the incident, police apprehended Matonho and charged him with m_rder. The ZRP is urging individuals to seek help and resolution through dialogue and support systems rather than resorting to vi0lence.
Matonho is currently in police custody, and legal proceedings are anticipated to commence shortly, as the family and community mourn the untimely death of Espina Nhambuka.
